Handicap Pool Lifts

We can provide you with handicap pool lifts which are ADA compliant. We want all members of your family to be able to safely enjoy the swimming pool, and this may require the installation of a special lift. In addition to having a pool installed that is slightly sloped at one end to allow for easy entry, it's also important that you have a secondary way for individuals to easily enter and exit the water who may have limited mobility. Handicap access is very important, and you don't want your loved ones to have a difficult time using the pool. Often times, swimming is a required therapy for indiivduals facing certain types of disabilities, and you need to make sure that they are able to perform their exercises from the comfort of your own home.

Our pool lifts have seats that can rotate 90-360 degrees. This makes it easier for caregivers to transfer an individual to and from the water. There is a lot of therapeutic benefits that your loved one can receive from swimming in a safe pool, so let us help you get a pool lift installed that will help them to safely enjoy the water with you and the rest of your family. Leave no one out of the water with our specialized and affordable ADA-compliant pool lifts.

Our ADA compliant pool lifts adhere to the following:

  1. Minimum lifting capacity is 300 pounds
  2. Solid seat is at least 16" in width
  3. Lift has footrests
  4. User is able to operate, without assistance, the lift from the deck or the water
  5. Tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrists in excess of 5 pounds is not necessary
  6. Seat is able to be submerged 18" into the water - below stationary level

Pool Lift Installation

Depending on the type of pool lift you want installed, the process may differ somewhat from model to model. There are several mounting options for each lift. Lifts which were designed for in-ground pools and spas are often mounted into a recessed socket in the pool deck. There are some models, however, that offer above the water installation. These are often installed in pools that have covers on them. Above ground pool lifts are mounted to posts that are recessed into the ground, or they can be mounted to a floor or pool deck surface with a strong, solid steel base.
